<p>Last night Twitter changed their functionality in the way they served tweets from one&#8217;s followers. Before you could choose whether or not you wanted to see the @replies from your followers to people you did not follow. <span id="more-2144"></span>This was a great way to better understand your followers by seeing all their tweets. It was also a great way to discover new people on Twitter. An interesting one sided conversation leads you to discover the other side.</p>
<p>That is no longer possible. Now you can only see the @replies to people you are following. They removed the option. Not the default, but an optional setting to interact with Twitter this way. I have since found out that there is a technical limitation, but to make this change without warning is pretty inexcusable. Twitter has heard the feedback and it looking into ways to address the optional feature.</p>
